With the gorgeous Radeon HD 5850 we reach 2560x1600 as a viable gaming resolution -- remember 8xAA is enabled.
The Radeon HD 5870 takes it up another notch and gaming will horrendously butter smooth.
Well and it won't be a surprise to see that Radeon 5970 rock DiRT2 completely. Your target for gaming should be FPS really, and the Radeon HD 5970 just laughs at that. The performance impact on the 5800 series is there alright. Expect anyhing from 15% to 30% for the extra eye candy.
