 Computex 2009 - Day 2 - The Nangang resurrection

Silverstone

Known by their cool chassis designs, we stumbled into Silverstone. Let's have a  look at what they are working on.

Computex 2009 - Day 1

So it looks a little messy, but trust me when i say, that's a cool chassis. This my friends is the updated and all new Raven 2 chassis.

There first Raven chassis was absolutely amazing, the second one will stun even more. Silverstone is set to release their Raven 2 chassis soon. The chassis is in all its ways weird, key feature... the motherboard is placed into the chassis at a 90 degree angle, meaning the back panel is now located at the top of the chassis so all hot air (which travels upwards) is exhausted at the top of the chassis. Of course a nice cover blinds all cables etc.

Computex 2009 - Day 1

Meet the Raven 2 cable management. In the backside of the chassis there is so much space to work in and guide your cables through. Really cool.

Computex 2009 - Day 1

Silverstone is also working on the ML03, this is a mini-ITX chassis design. Try to imagine a nice little ION based mITX motherboard in there powered with an Atom processor. That's just massive fun to use and look at. Very nice. And to understand the sheer size of it, this device is only 20cm wide :-)
