EVGA nForce 750i SLI FTW For The Win review

Gaming: Call of Duty 4

Activision recently released Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, the next installment in the popular war game series. Moving away from the World War II setting, Modern Warfare instead centers around a conflict involving Russia and the Middle East. And hey, you even get to die ... and then continue the game in the past.

Amazing look at that ... interestingly enough COD4 benefits from CPU differences in the higher resolutions from more processor power, meaning in the lower resolutions out graphics card is the bottleneck.

Agreed, marginal differences.

Gaming: Crysis v1.2

And last but not least, the title that is always weird as it is 'so' dependant on hardware. Crysis patched to v1.2

Image Quality setting:

  • 0x Anti Aliasing
  • 16x anisotropic filtering

The X6800 on the 680i is at 10x7 faster. Crysis likes faster CPU clocks and does not care about more than two CPU cores apparently. Once the overclocked Q6600 on the 750i FTW kicks in, you'll notice the real deal about Crysis ... guys we need much faster processors. Anyway, you get the idea. Let's have a look at power consumption.
