Guru3D Rig of the Month 2010 competition series

Each month here at Guru3D.com we feature one of you guys, your PC, your DIY project. It is quite honestly amazing how much detail and dedication you put into an PC, and every now and then it really shows. We again had a LOT of entries coming in in the past five weeks, thank you very much for that. Out of the fifteen most original we in the end randomly picked one.

This rig of the month totally speaks for itself, an outstanding PC build, sheer beauty and then an excellent photo-shoot highlighting the craftsmanship you are about to see with his own custom build.

Meet Kyle Brocke , a mechanical engineer working for NASA. He made his PC his own Fish tank based PC. He claims that it has way better cooling then most extreme air or water cooled machines. We just go by the looks and think that is an awesome design ! Kyle Brocke is the winner of Rig of The Month July 2010. Meet this man at the age of 24 with his rather wet PC.

3. What do you mainly use the system for?

Really the question is what don't I use it for. The normal daily stuff browsing, writing documents etc. It is also connected to my projector/home theater systems, so I watch tv, movies, listen to music, play games on a 120" screen at 1080p. It broadcasts my movies and music to any computer in the house and to a few neighbors too. I do a little video and picture editing. I use it for creating 3D models and running analysis on them (mostly work stuff) but I did create my deck with a parts list. Really, it can do anything I need.
