HIS Radeon HD 5670 ICEQ review

By: Hilbert Hagedoorn Edited by Don Corleone | Published: January 25, 2010

HIS Radeon HD 5670 ICEQ

You can drive up-to 3 monitors simultaneously if you wanted to, all digital connectors are dual-link DVI ready up-to 2560x1600 monitor resolutions.  The 5670 ICEQ is equipped with a Sub-D, HDMI and DVI monitor output connector. The HDMI connector will output multi-channel sound as well, damn handy when connecting straight to a receiver or HDTV.

The top of the card is fairly simple. And the reason I'm showing it is that you are not seeing any Crossfire connectors. That's correct, the card is Crossfire ready though, you can just pop in two of them on your motherboard and enabled Crossfire in the drivers. All data is exchanged over the PCIe bus (two x8 slots are recommended).

Not exactly a mystery anymore, but the ICEQ housing has a UV reflective coating. Put a cold cathode UV light in your system and the bling starts real hard.
