Aaah, finally a review that has been long overdue. The amount of products here in queue for a review is massive lately and this was by far the busiest summer ever in the GPU arena. None the less we can finally bring you a review on a GeForce 9800 GT graphics card. In a minute we'll explain the dynamics and confusion surrounding this product, as in reality it's a re-badged GeForce 8800 GT. There are some small subtle differences though.

The good thing about the GeForce 9800 GT is simple, it packs quite a lot of performance at an excellent price. And when it's outdated in a year or two... you just pop it in and use it as a PhysX accelerator or have it compute Folding@home data for team Guru3D.

Subtle differences I stated in that first paragraph. Here's the thing, there's a certain amount of creative freedom NVIDIA's board partners can use with this product. They are free to customize it. Say no more... as that's where Inno3D always lurks around the corner. They love pimping that graphics card up, and even overclock it for ya. They have a regular model, the ZeroTHERM cooled version, and a big balled version that we test today, the 9800 GT Twin Turbo... ehm no, we did not just refer to a car ;)

So today's product tested is the Inno3D GeForce 9800 GT Twin Turbo, that comes from the iChill range of their products. It has a dazzling Arctic Cooling (Accelero) based cooling solution, keeping the temperatures down, noise levels low... and to throw in a bone... they overclocked it for you.

With that being said, let's startup this review where we explain the technical details and test the cards with a game or twelve. Those games include S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky, Mass Effect, Crysis, Frontlines: Fuel of War and the one game you'll even get for free with this product, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.
