Inno3D GeForce GT 220

Inno3D GeForce GT 210 and 220

This is the GT 220 -- it packs a little more power with its 48 Shader cores. Would the cooler have been really silent, it would have been a near ideal HTPC card. The embedded video core logic can accelerate high-definition content and the 48 shader processors can be used (with software like Mediaplayer Class HT) to post process and enhance the content (e.g. image sharpening). Though borderline, the card could also be used as PhysX card or just for very basic CUDA applications.

The GeForce GT220 ships with 48 shader (stream) processors clocked at 1360MHz and 625MHz graphics core clock. Opposed to the 64-bit wide memory controller on the GT 210 the memory interface is 128-bit wide and runs at 800MHz. The GPU used is the new 40nm GT216 graphics processor.

The DDR2 memory size on this card is 1024MB and you can expect a sales price of roughly 50 USD. Again we see good connectivity in the form of SUB-D (analog VGA), dual-link DVI and HDMI.
