Palit GeForce GTX 465

Alright, as always let's start off with packaging. Fairly simple box design, and hey... where's the frog?

Palit GeForce GTX 465

Inside the box, one glittering looking graphics card, a DVI dongle, manual plus driver CD and the NVIDIA technology demos on a CD. Overall that's a rather cheapo bundle really. You do get extra benefits from the custom cooler of course.

Let's have a look at the card. Do not underestimate how much performance this little card has under its hood. Targeted at a MSRP of roughly 350 USD it packs 1280MB of gDDR5 memory, its core frequency is clocked at 607 MHz, its shader processors at 1214 MHz and that memory at 3348 MHz (effective). As you guys know, this card is positioned against ATI's Radeon HD 5850, which has dropped to under 300 USD.

The TDP is a little lower opposed to its big brother at 215 Watts. Overall, a nice dark / orange two tone themed looking card offering a nice powerful bite in performance.
