Zalman MS1000-HS2 review

Zalman MS1000-HS2 reviewPC cases or chassis as we prefer to call it these days literally come in selections of hundreds of choices and options. Though nothing extraordinary in terms of development over the past years, we have seen the PC chassis change from the old dull grey/beige monstrosity towards a huge market with choices -- simple, complex, cheap, expensive, moddable, gamers, enterprise and sure .. professional cases as well.

When we talk about innovative, silent, stylish and user friendly cases, we often stop at names like Lian-Li, Cooler Master and Zalman.

The last brand recently released a new chassis into the market called MS1000-HS2, a chassis targeted at the somewhat high-end professional end-user with a grasp for style, design and functionality.

Zalman being Zalman, will offer a very complete product with the MS1000-HS2, hey they have to live up with the reputation they've build with their massive line of cooling products.

The chassis we test today goes way beyond standard features though, we see sound dampening, removable drive bays, optimized cooling at low noise levels and sure just offering very versatile chassis. Next to the stylish smooth lines and lack of weird curvatures in the design you'll also spot hot-swappable drives; no less than six removable HDDs can be installed in this HS2 model.

You know what, have a peek at the MS1000-HS2 first and then head on over to our next page where we'll start-up this review.
